About CEO Tim Franta

Tim Franta was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Starfighters Space, Inc. on February 23, 2026. He joined the Company in October 2022 as Vice President of Development, leading development of the STARLAUNCH air-launch system. Prior to Starfighters, he served as Deputy Director of Energy Florida in Cape Canaveral (2018–2022) and Director of Special Projects (2012–2018), focused on space and energy business development and aligning public policy with private and government financing. Earlier in his career he worked for the Florida Legislature and served as Chief of Staff for the Florida Space Authority, where he helped draft space transportation legislation for the state.
